Our method

You have a product to launch, reformulate or reposition. This page describes how we work together: what you receive at each stage, what we expect from you, and what we commit to. The technical expertise deployed is detailed on the expertise page.

The first contact

1

It all starts with a conversation. You tell us about your project, your target market and your constraints. We ask the questions that determine feasibility: product matrix, manufacturing process, acceptable ingredient cost, labeling constraints, launch deadline.

This initial discussion is free and without obligation. It leads either to a clear project scope or to a referral to another provider if your needs fall outside what we do. We would rather tell you on the first call than at the third sample.

The formalized brief

2

Based on this conversation, we draft a structured brief together: sensory objectives, technical constraints, target budget, regulations, labeling, timeline. This brief sets the scope, deliverables and deadlines. It also serves as a reference in case of disagreement over the result, which protects both parties.

Your product information, existing formulas, and positioning elements remain confidential and are not shared with any third parties.

Formulation and samples

3

The assigned flavorist works on the brief. Within 2 to 5 business days of its approval, you receive the first samples and their technical data sheets: composition, recommended dosage, storage conditions.

You test, you give us your feedback, we iterate. This phase can take a few days or several weeks depending on the complexity of the target profile. That’s normal, and it’s planned for.

Application tests

4

Once the profile has been validated on the flavor alone, we test it in your actual product matrix, or in a representative matrix if you cannot provide yours. We check stability, optimal dosage, behavior during heat treatment and shelf life over time.

This step is the one that prevents any unpleasant surprises. A flavor that has been validated in the laboratory may behave differently in an acidic, fatty, or pasteurized product. It is better to discover it here than after the production has begun.

Production and delivery

5

The validated formula goes into production. Complete technical documentation, enhanced quality controls on the first batch, and reference samples retained for comparison on subsequent batches.

Your first order is delivered within the lead times agreed in the brief. Subsequent orders benefit from our integrated logistics.

Our commitment: one contact, one conversation

Throughout the project, you work with the same person. They know your file, your previous trials and your preferences. No switchboard, no history to re-explain every time you call.

This continuity comes from our organization and our size. It is also what allows us to resume a project that was put on hold two years ago without starting from scratch.
